Sociedad Española de Historia Agraria / Spain

The Spanish Agricultural History Society (SEHA) is a cultural and scientific organisation focused on the study and diffusion of rural history in Spain and beyond. Since 1987, SEHA organizes conferences on rural history as well as other scientific activities, which has become an important meeting point for researchers on both sides of the Atlantic (e.g. the XIV International Conference on Agricultural History in Badajoz 2013). In 1990, SEHA started to publish Historia Agraria. Revista de Agricultura e Historia Rural, an international journal on rural history which has played a key role linking disciplines which have in common the analysis of agricultural history and the economy and rural society not only in Spain but also in other areas such as Latin America.
