Locations of Rural History 2015 and 2017 fixed

The conference Rural History 2013 in Bern, Switzerland, was a great success - above all due to the perfect conference management by Peter Moser and his team. More than 300 scholars from all over the world presented and discussed the latest results of their research in a lively atmosphere. At the beginning of the conference on Monday, 19 August 2013, the Management Committee of the EURHO discussed the locations of the next conferences. Two excellent proposals had been submitted by our Spanish and Belgian colleagues. The Management Committee accepted both proposals. In September 2015 the Rural History conference will, for the first time, take place in Mediterranean Europe, in Girona in Spain. And in 2017 the conference will move to a centre of rural history, to Leuven in Belgium.
