Poster contributions, relevant to the conference theme, are invited.
Poster contributors are requested to submit poster title and short abstract (100–300 words) as soon as possible (not later than 15th May). Please email details (title, abstract, authors and their affiliations) to ahsi.conf2014birr@gmail.com.
Posters will be on display throughout Saturday. There is a poster slot scheduled for immediately after lunch (14.00-14.30 h) on the Saturday. Presenters are asked to be at their posters during this time. Poster presenters are entitled to a reduced registration fee of €20 and membership of AHSI for 2014 should they wish to avail of same.
Poster guidelines:
- Posters may be produced in either landscape or portrait format; landscape is preferred.
- Preferred size: no larger than AO size (1189 x 841mm); preferably A1 size (841 x 594mm).
- Suggested headings: Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions, References (key refs only).
- Avoid overload, especially of text. Pay attention to captions of illustrations (photos and Figs).
- Use a sans serif font such as Arial. Recommended font sizes (pt): minimum 20; 30-40 desirable; Headings: 50+
- Keep logos to a minimum and discrete. Ensure that email addresses and affiliations of authors are provided.
- Velcro adhesive pads or similar fixing materials will be provided.
