RHN 133/2016 | Call/EURHO
11-14 September 2017, Leuven, Belgium
Deadline for paper submissions: 31 January 2017
> Please see here for the list of panels looking for participants
Rural History 2017 is the third conference under the auspices of EURHO (the European Rural History Society) and will take place in Leuven from 11 to 14 September 2017. The conference is open to scholars studying the multifaceted history of rural Europe and of its interaction with other parts of the world, from ancient times up to the present.
The call for panels is closed and ca. 70 panels were selected. From 1 December onwards, we welcome all interested researchers to submit proposals for individual papers. We explicitly invite young historians to present their research in progress.
Please mention, when introducing your paper proposal online (up to 200 words), in which panel you wish to participate. If an individual paper proposal does not fit well into one of the panels on the list, authors can select the open subject panel.
The deadline for paper proposals is 31 January 2017. Only online submission via the conference website (www.ruralhistory2017.be) will be taken into consideration. Notification of acceptance of selected paper proposals will follow by February 28, 2017.
