Call for Papers:
Rural History 2019

Rural History 2019, the fourth biennial conference of the European Rural History Organisation (EURHO), will be held in Paris from Tuesday 10 to Friday 13 September 2019.

After the success of the Call for Panels (more of one hundred proposals from 37 countries around the world), the EURHO will launch the Call for papers from 4 December 2018.

All researchers working on the history of the countryside are invited to submit their paper choosing one of the selected panel proposals. These panels involve a wide range of the economic, social, political or cultural history of the countryside (agricultural or artisanal production, social reproduction, consumption, etc.) and featuring links to environmental, political, anthropological and cultural history.

A paper must include a title, the full name and affiliation of author and co-author(s), and a short abstract (up to 400 words) introducing the topic, its scope and approach. Participants are asked to limit themselves to the presentation of a maximum of two papers.

Each session will last two hours and include four papers. Sessions will be led by a chair and a discussant.

We will receive only online submissions via this link: https://eurhoparis2019.sciencesconf.org/submission/submit

The deadline for paper proposals is 1st February 2019.
