PNRR Project “Political Inclusion and Inequality in Preindustrial Italian Alps (1500–1800)”, University of Milano-Bicocca, scientific project head: Dr. Giulio Ongaro

The University of Milano-Bicocca invites applications for a 12-month research position in the project “Political Inclusion and Inequality in Preindustrial Italian Alps (1500–1800)”, led by Giulio Ongaro. The researcher will collect and analyse data from the accounting books of the rural communities from the tax surveys and from the registers of the rural councils in the areas included in the research project. The researcher will then observe the trend of the incomes coming from the taxation and from the common properties in the period 1500–1800 and the relationship between the composition of the public incomes, the trend of economic inequality, and the potential narrowing of the rural councils.
